Following some statistics and the outcome of a study by INSEE, the number of start-ups in 2009 was maintained at a level close to its record. Cortix confirm that start-ups in France reached a record 52,149 in December 2009.
The 580,193 new businesses over the whole of 2009 reached a record level of 74.9% over 2008. The fact that the new device status auto entrepreneur is a very large part responsible for this excellent figure, can only smile in the Fillon government. Indeed, in 2009, about 427 900 individual companies were created, 75% of them were self-enterprise.
