Mw2 Russian Into English

UTMB...annulée!

Edition UTMB's 2010 had created much espectiv gathered a shelf ever seen. Weather should be hard, rain and cold at altitude, but it is not as the mountain? The mountain is not that of the sun, green fields, flowers and cows. But it also rocks, storms, snow ... that's what creates the mountain spirit. It is increasingly far from that spirit, even if the races are called racing "mountain" we never see. Racing wheel more, deletion of the technical parts are as "dangerous" cancellations of the first drop of rain ... We're not athletes and mountaineers! There is still a chance that races like Andorra or ultratrail Zegama Aizkorri are able to meet the riders and allow riders to decide or until they are able by his knowledge and technique to arrive.

It is true that UTMB is another thing, even if it assumes the name of Mont Blanc, is not a technical race and is accessible technical level for everyone with minimal preparation, it is this accessibility with the technical challenge that has long made it as popular and which allowed the riders not used to the mountains to participate. That's good, very good because it opens our sport, and it is true that the decision to stop the race today was thinking (I hope) the dangers that could be the riders who are not accustomed to cold, rain and fog. Dangerous So pass the Col du Bonhomme and Seigne. What seems to me in my opinion is incompressible and ashamed that an organization with a budget of around or more than one million euros (I guess by summing the entries more sponsors ...) is not able to provide for an alternative route, switch on the other side ... there is still the Alps there are trails or even under rocks! Is the problem with the return entries ...? Make reservations for next year? UTMB is beaucuop commitments for riders, preparing for over a year, leave the job or convince the family ... it will be hard to find a good solution ...

must not think too much and turn page, so it was with decisions of other riders like Geoff Roes, Karl Metzl, Nicolas Mermoud ... going to run the Troffeo KIMA, Italy, the World Championship Ultra Skyrace. I would like to thank Marino Giacometti, President of the ISF, and the organization we have registered so quickly and we have looked for housing ...
