[Cortix cur]: French SMEs are slow to switch to digital and the internet have become essential tools.
Cortix focuses this week on the digital divide for SMEs. Indeed, the study by the nongovernmental organization of thought and influence "Digital Renaissance think tank" that works as a cell of "brainstorming" or a philosophical club policy states that fewer than one in two French SME has a website. A statement denouncing the fact that Internet penetration and use of digital technology in French companies remains low.
The painting "Internet" has become indispensable to figure prominently in the domestic market and internationally. This network has become a marketing platform of choice to try and attract new customers.
We are very far from the ambitions we have for our country."
Cortix said that only 48% of French firms with fewer than twenty employees are present on the internet web. Even though 93% of these companies have access to broadband Internet, France is ranked below the European average of 13 points.
