Ce 11 janvier 2010 des jeunes entrepreneurs du web 2.0 lui ont présenté leurs projets qui contribuent à une innovation majeure de l’économie numérique. Une technologique qui a permis l’essor spectaculaire du e-commerce et des réseaux sociaux.

A cette occasion, Éric BESSON a annoncé quatre actions pour accélérer les nouveaux usages du numérique et leur appropriation par les utilisateurs :

1. Investir via le volet numérique du programme des investissements d'avenir

Le Gouvernement consacre, 2.5 billion euros in the development of new services, and uses digital contents or three calls for proposals on topics of cloud computing (cloud computing), e-education and e-health.
